ABOUT THE SENSORY SHED

Based in Gulladuff, The Sensory Shed is a purpose built therapy room where we offer a range of services designed to help assess and treat children and adults with additional needs or learning difficulties.

We offer a variety of group classes or one-to-one sessions ideal for people challenged with additional needs such as Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Dyspraxia or Attention Deficit Disorder.

Our purpose is to provide a safe, enjoyable environment so that we can assess clients individual needs and encourage the development of important motor skills, social skills, sensory awareness and self care occupations.

Ultimately, our objective at The Sensory Shed is to help children and adults with additional needs develop the skills they need to increase their independence and build their sense of achievement!

The Sensory Shed is managed by Danielle Duggan who is an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist and also a Sensory Integration Therapist. She has first-hand experience and a personal understanding of what is involved in supporting children and adults with additional needs on a daily basis.

The objective of The Sensory Shed is to help children and adults of all abilities to acquire the skills they need to increase their independence and build their sense of achievement!

Fully Qualified & Experienced

Danielle is an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Therapist. She obtained a BS(c) Hons degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Ulster in 2008 followed by Sensory Integration Training from 2014-2016. Danielle is also employed as an Occupational Therapist by the local Health Trust.
